Actually HP has lasted longer than most companies.

HP has a a significant national security role.

Leo A is a dual citizen and many felt he could not serve American fundamental interests reliably--that is the story.

Of course he also was a target of Ellison--not a happy place to be

The HP Way is dead, alas. Perhaps someone might bring it back?

Meg bring back the HP way?

Sure. She'll bring it back and send it off with the first couple thousand jobs she creates...

...all of them overseas.

Other governments protect their workers, why can't we.

End "free" trade.

Free trade? How about that 6,000 mile burden every Chinese product has to overcome? If we cannot overcome a 6,000 mile advantage it is time to quit. I remember when every magazine ad stated "Prices higher West of the Mississippi". We overcame that.
