Original post made on Feb 5, 2010

What Dale Bentson referred to as "dreadful wallpaper" plastered "onto every flat-walled surface" is actually custom, original, hand-painted artwork on the walls, by a New York artist, brought in specifically for the job. Good one, Dale!

My favorite eyesore used to be Machismo Mouse restaurant ... forget where it used to be, but I loved the fresh, lean cooked health food. A place way ahead of its time that was really fantastic ... but also very ugly on the inside, sporting raw concrete surfaces, with corrugated metal textures on the seats. What a great place that was.

Loui, Loui sounds pretty good as far as the food!

Mr. Bentson really needs to make a return visit, because the restaurant is now the wonderful (and more affordable) Cafe Renzo. The food is delicious. And I love the wallpaper.
