Palo Alto youth win SF chamber music prize

Four teenage string musicians, three of whom attend Gunn High School, only started playing together last fall, but in February they won a $1,000, first-of-its-kind prize for youth chamber music from San Francisco State University (SFSU).

Wow, that is wonderful! Congratulations to them. This area has so many wonderful musical offerings, often in smaller settings with good acoustics. We're really lucky - and it sounds like they're really talented.
