The old Romic site is a lot of acres - 15 or 20? A lot for around here.
It seems that this has gone thru the East P.A. city process without any press or much known by the public. Or public discussion. How did this happen?
Is there not mandatory CEQA review of such a huge project? Property is at the end of Bay Rd near the Bay. Is this use OK given is proximity to marsh area?
Is Romic not the responsible to pay for the clean-up its superfund site, not a later purchaser of the property?

It's ironic that a company named Romic Environmental Technologies would produce such a toxic site.

This is great news for EPA. The Ravenswood School district has used natural gas to power its buses for years, and EPA police and private citizens use the district pumps to refuel. More jobs, clean fuel that gives more miles/tank. What more can we ask?
