As a 25 year resident of Christmas Tree Lane, I say "the more, the merrier"! I am thrilled that Debbie Nichols (who lived on CTL for a few years and still returns for our annual brunch) has taken her childhood memories and turned them into more enjoyment for more families. We on CTL have a strong sense of community because of our annual tradition; I'm glad to see that sense of community spread throughout Palo Alto. It's good for everyone.
I have a couple of small requests for those who visit CTL or the Seale/Santa Rita/Waverly area: It's more fun to walk than to drive. Keep ahold of your children, especially when the drivers have their lights turned low. Be courteous of the homeowners, who do this out of the goodness of their hearts. Yield to them when they go in and out of their driveways, and take your trash with you.
Happy Holidays, Palo Alto!!

It seems that for a few years there that several homes on Fulton did not participate? Why was this? The rumor circulating at the time was that if one bought a house on Xmas Tree Ln, one HAD to comply and decorate their home every Xmas.
However, how can you force someone who is not a Christian to do so?
There is also significant completion fron Bryant Ave in OPA this year!
