I'm so very happy for DaVante! He deserves all he is afforded, he has worked so hard at this for such a long time.

God has blessed him. He's on his way to the NFL folks!

I am a PALY fan, although very much a fair weather one. I loved that 2010 season, when PALY won the state championship. DaVante Adams was a HUGE contributor in that effort. He is tough, and hard working and very athletic...a real formula for success. He deserves the honors coming his way. I look forward to seeing him on Sundays.

What terrific news, for an amazing young man.

You all should also know that Davante stopped by his old HS last year. He and I spoke of how he was doing, in football and in his classes at college. On a whim I asked him if he'd stop by to share his experiences with my class of Freshmen. He enthusiastically agreed but, humble as ever, didn't think he'd have much to say or whether my students would care what he had to say. Nonetheless, he came to visit, and amazingly, "held court", telling of his experiences, and fielding questions--for the entire period! He was at times, light-hearted and funny, and then quite serious. But perhaps most importantly, he continued to emphasize the importance of always trying hard in school, and how becoming a better student opened doors to his future. It was truly powerful bit of mentoring. I wish him the best. He deserves nothing less. Thank you, Davante.
