Thank god this calendar controversy seems to be over. Townsend kept pandering tonight, but Caswell and Emberling saw the handwriting on the wall and decided not to buck 85% of their constituents. Scott Bowers threw a bucket of cold reality on the idea of finals before winter break with the semester ending three weeks after winter break.

How do you know that a bullying or any type of catastrophe would be avoided if Scott Bowers were the superintendent?

Look at the schools and District offices. They are wide-open. There is a difference between information transparency and security. What has Scott Bowers, the A.S. of human resources, done to keep the physical and personal information of students and staff safe in this increasingly violent environment?

That sounds like a personal issue. Bowers is smart , professional , and a straight shooter . Please board dismiss Skelly promote Bowers to acting and then hire him as Super. No more scandals. Here's a slogan: he's honest, professional, and hardworking . Don't we deserve that after the past 7 years?
