Most Palo Alto drivers understand that speeding, drunk driving, and red light running are extremely dangerous to both yourself and to other road users. Unfortunately, a basic rule of the road that most Palo Alto car drivers do not seem to understand is always LOOK RIGHT before turning right. Often I will see multiple pedestrians in a crosswalk when a driver turns right into their path.
The problem is that most drivers turning right for some reason have their eyes glued to their left and never look for other road users on their right. You need to look right whether or not you have a green light. Also look right at stop signs and when pulling out of driveways. Always look right before turning right. This only takes an extra second or two out of your busy day. Please please please. Thank you.
