I had been waiting for this movie for months and say it on its first showing in Palo Alto at the Aquarius theater, and then again the next day.
YES! This movie was very good. It's hard to pack the sense of Robert Reich's writings over many years into a roughly 90 minute movie, but the story is mostly fashioned after the points made in his fairly recent book "Aftershock" and the newest "Beyond Outrage". Of particular interest were the comments of the CEO of the Pacific Coast Feather Company about the problem of inequality and why it stalls and undermines the economy ... a former Conservative. There is very little discussion of this movie, or the points it makes in the media, or one blog sites such as this one. It is a shame that more people do not understand some of the finer points about real economics.
I was so disappointed that this movie was not reviewed here, and am glad to see that at least someone else watched it and thought is was as good as I did, and important too. Thanks for mentioning it.
