This is a typo, right? "The facility at 2501 Embarcadero Way adds a new service where residents can pick up reusable household products such as paints, household cleaners, polishes and motor oil. It adds a new security fence and storage bins."
This is the drop off facility, not the pick up, right?????
I love this as a service. Hope they can connect the bayland trail from behind the Honda dealership to Byxbee w/o using Embarcadero. Sounds like that's the plan.

Again in the interest of full disclosure, I am a former Midtowner.
"A bit embarrassed" Really, He should not be.
He could have, as some do in every city that has a recycling program (I live in a large Mountain West city that has such programs--- our next is Oct. 19th and I'll be there with a ton of stuff from my garage), simply dumped stuff in his garbage can(s) and forgotten about it.
Not particularly "green" but more Americans are non green than are
you'll have to admit if you peak outside the confines of the Bay Area.
Here's to Councilman Berman for storing stuff to recycle in a timely manner!

Really do not want to think about using someone else's old batteries or paint pots. Really, people are going to go there and get what they can find it and use it at home?
I doubt it.
