We love the chocolate at Monique's. I prefer the hot chocolate, no matter what the weather & my spouse loves the truffles. I enjoy being able to choose how dark the chocolate, if I want to add another flavor, such as mint, & to specify the fat % of the milk. The servings are perfect in size - large enough to serve as a dessert, small enough to not overwhelm.
Monique's is downtown, on Bryant between University & Hamilton. Parking can be a challenge, but worth it when one is craving topshelf chocolate in liquid or solid form.

Went back to Flea Street Cafe the other week; always surprised it takes me so long to get back there, and how much I enjoy it.

J Capistrano, thanks for the comment! Flea St. is one of our faves, too. I'm grateful that it's been around so long & is still going strong & still delicious.
Shout out to Chantal Guillon Macarons. I recommended it to a friend in town for a hostess gift. The hostess was very pleased, as she lives in an area minus macarons & loved them. They're also a great gluten-free option.
