Thanks for writing this story about Dr. Ellen Brown and highlighting the special work she is doing. Each of my parents were under the care of hospice before the died and I know personally what a priceless gift the hospice team members bring. Dr. Brown is definitely one of the stars.

I congratulate Dr. Ellen Brown on her well-deserved recognition of 2011 Home Care Physician of the Year by CAHSAH after having provided more than 15 years of medical service for Pathways. Her role of providing palliative care and giving hope and dignity to the dying patient is an outstanding example of what Dr. Brown does best. She serves as a role model for the best in doctors' care. Her perceptive listening skills and appropriate treatment stand out.

Pathways helped our family last September. My wife was dying of colon cancer and their people were very helpful in providing palliative care. They were kind, efficient, and caring. Without question, I would recommend their services.
