so when it's down, you stomp all over it...Great attitude, Ms. Palo Alto. The comments made here are rude and uncalled for..

Turn it back into a tea house? I would think the Stanford students need a little excitement in their off time and a place to gather..not the fault of the Blue Chalk that some out of towner came in with bad intensions~ which could have happened anywhere in town. And has.

Gunn High School resident, I agree. Blue Chalk was a restaurant and night spot that brought revenue to downtown PA. Great attitude to kick a business when they are in hard times. You've clearly never owned your own company. BTW, 10-97 calls don't constitute a bad business. Immature patrons that drink irresponsibly are the cause for 10-97 calls. That can happen to ANY business that severs alcohol. I personally miss the Blue Chalk. I realize it's been a number of years but it was nice to have an option to go across the street from Nola's. I have fond memories of good times and good food at Blue Chalk.

Wasn't Blue Chalk down the street between Hamilton and Forest (across from City Hall garage)?...not across the street for NOLA...

We went to Blue Chalk twice; got food poisoning twice. Good riddance!
