in spite of people from both sides of the "border" who really don't want a two state solution,.....maybe this time it will really happen.
Let's all pray/hope/wish for it to come true...though my cynicism is high because of the hardliners on both sides.
Let's hope both leaders survive long enough to make it so...They both truly deserve the Peace Prize for risking their lives in this endeavor.

Meanwhile, Hamas has signaled it's intent to sabotage the talks by increasing the shelling of Israel from the Gaza Strip (which they have been doing on almost daily basis anyway since the Israeli withdrawal).
They also continue to call for Israel's destruction and refuse to recognize Israel's right to exist.
The question is can Abbas reign in these terrorists and murderers>
Is there any wonder there is no peace yet?
The Palestinians have only themselves to blame for their continues misery.

What is wrong with a one state solution for the palestinians.
It seems that Israel has the most to loose according to Olmert
"If the day comes when the two-state solution collapses, and we face a South African-style struggle for equal voting rights, then, as soon as that happens, the State of Israel is finished," Mr Olmert is quoted saying in Haaretz newspaper.
