Original post made by Anonymous, Another Palo Alto neighborhood, on Apr 24, 2007

It's interesting how there is always something which keeps gas prices high now that the election is over. Or maybe it was the other way.

Why was Walter's post removed? It was right on.

The point was that there is an annual cycle to gas prices, regardless of who is in the White House. And we are starting our summer migration toward higher prices which will begin their return to lower prices after Labor Day.

That's all.

"Is that coincidental? Or is it part of a plan that these multinational, huge companies who are making obscene profits in the tens of billions of dollars -- is this part of their game to keep the profits going?" Reid said.
