Goldman Sachs is the Winner that Takes All

Original post made by resident on Jul 1, 2009

If there ever was a company that has profited from today's financial crisis its Goldman Sachs. Hail Goldman! I'm being facetious of course. If America is now circling the money drain Goldman Sachs has found a way to be that drain.

This article is a must read on Goldman Sachs for anyone interested in today's economy. Web Link

And you have to wonder why that it's only Madoff that gets 150 years.

Goldman Sachs' electronic trading program was stolen a few weeks ago. The FBI arrested the guy within 4 days of GS notifying the authorities. The prosecutor for the arrest said that if the program could be used "to manipulate markets." Ha! So if someone else has the program to manipulate markets its not okay, but if Goldman Sachs, who created the program that can manipulate markets, has it in possession it's okay?

What a joke and a fraud of a company. Incidentally today GS posts a record profit. Web Link

I say its more like, hail the taxpayer for GS' profits!
