Police cars racing down Channing last night (6/22)

Does anyone know what was going on last night about 9PM. About 5-6 police cars came screaming down Channing Avenue around Cowper/Webster Streets - and I mean screaming (fast and sirens on)! I know they crossed over Middlefield - just wondering what was going on?
