Annual Meeting-- Crescent Park Neighborhood Assoc.
Original post made by Norman Beamer on Jun 20, 2009
Tuesday, June 23rd, 7:00 To 9:00 PM, Art Center Auditorium, 1313 Newell Rd.
The CPNA annual meeting this year covers two familiar, but nonetheless timely and important topics the Stanford Expansion, and flood control for San Francisquito Creek.
Representatives from Stanford will present an update on the proposed expansion of the Stanford Hospital.
Also at the CPNA Annual Meeting, the San Francisquito Creek Joint Powers Authority (JPA) Executive Director Len Materman will make a presentation about the short term and long term efforts being made to address the community's flooding challenges, providing increased flow capacity downstream of Highway 101, and temporarily detaining storm water in the upper watershed. This portion of the meeting is co-sponsored by a new organization, "Three For The Creek," made up of residents of Palo Alto, Menlo Park and East Palo Alto. www.threeforthecreek.com.
