What is happening at Scott's Seafood site?
Around Town, posted by Curious, a resident of Another Palo Alto neighborhood, on Jan 12, 2007 at 7:44 pm

There is a lot of building activity at the old Scott's site at Embarcadero and 101. Anyone know what it is?

I think it's a bicycle/pedestrian tunnel under Hwy 101.

It would of been a great location for a auto dealership. I think it is going to be more office space.

I think it's more than a ped/bike tunnel over 101. It looks like it's going to be an actual 2-3 story building - steel frame and everything is already there. A HUGE crane too. My kids love looking at it each time we drive by.

Perry/Arrilaga (yes,THAT Arrilaga of Stanford Stadium fame) Developers are building an

80,000 sq. ft office building. It was controversial from the start, with the size from 100K sq. ft. and the height scaled down to be more in keeping with the Baylands.
