SATURDAY, JUNE 6, 9-1 Abilities United After School Program Rummage Sale Benefit

Original post made by Pauline Navarro on Jun 5, 2009

Abilities United is a wonderful organization serving the educational, social and vocational needs of the disabled of all ages.

The After School Recreation Program is a unique and incredible program which helps school aged kids who, for many reasons, are unable to have any "play dates" or birthday parties in any other way. It is the first and only place for some kids to have friends who will participate in a birthday party, play board or ball games, go on outings, or just hang out and laugh together. Without it, many kid would have no after school activities, friends or birthday parties at all. I know I and my family are extremely grateful to Abilities United in many ways, most recently for this program.

The After School Recreation program is holding a Rummage Sale 9-1 Saturday June 6 at Abilities United, 3864 Middlefield Road, between Charleston and E. Meadow.

Please come check it out!

Thanks

Thanks Palo Alto, an hour ago there were lots of you there!

Stuff we put out ranged from real artwork bought at a gallery just a year ago for $5,000 to decent furniture, jewelry and little kid books and toys.
