The Sawdust Shop in Sunnyvale is a great local resource for anyone looking to explore a woodworking. \Check out their classes and projects. Or you can go and use their shop.

Woodworking is pretty cool ... but isn't 12 a little young for power tools? I remember we had woodshop in high-school and it was very cool.

Young Builders in Midtown center is offering woodworking and model building for kids 6 yo and up. no power tools...
