Tammy Bruce on "Tax Revolt"
Issues Beyond Palo Alto, posted by Perspective, a resident of the Midtown neighborhood, on Apr 11, 2009 at 9:30 am

Above is a link to Tammy Bruce, one of my heroes, talking on Pajama TV about the Tea Party Day on April 15th. She is one of the organizers of the Tea Parties happening on that day at various places in order to protest the massive government increase in taxes that is happening across the nation.

Tammy was director of NOW during the OJ trial (first one), and is a lesbian...and a great friend of Dr. Laura Schlessinger and a now a conservative for the most part.

Fascinating woman, story and history. Her first book THE NEW THOUGHT POLICE opened my eyes to who I was. A liberal whose party left her, and who is now classified as a conservative, (though my values and ideals have unchanged). She was the first one to clarify the confusion that had overcome me, about why I was so much at odds with EVERY organization, like the Dems, NOW, ACLU, that I used to think worked toward my liberal ideals.

Anyway, recommend it.
