Pedestrian hit by car on/near California Avenue

We are receiving early reports that a pedestrian was hit by a car on or very near California Avenue in Palo Alto. Early word suggests the pedestrian was taken to Stanford Hospital and Palo Alto fire and police officials are on the scene of the collision.

We will post a news story with more details as soon as they become available.

The pedestrian does not appear to be seriously injured. The crash occurred on California Avenue and Ash Street.
