Palo Alto paraglider drowned, coroner says

Rollan Kim, the Palo Alto man who died in a paragliding accident off Pacifica last Sunday, died from saltwater drowning after suffering a traumatic injury, the San Mateo County Coroner's office reported.

This should be a reminder to all who do these tough sports, not to do them alone. If this paraglider had been with another, even a friend watching on the beach, this tragedy may not have ended the way it did. Don't do it alone.

My sympathies to the family and friends.
