Palo Alto runs out of time, luck in CCS championship game loss

Faced with a late deficit, Palo Alto was unable to come up with a game-winning drive and lost in the Central Coast Section Medium School Division football championship, 29-23, to Los Gatos at San Jose City College on Saturday night. "It's not a great taste to leave in your mouth," said Paly senior quarterback Will Brandin.

The Vikes played their hearts out last night. We are so proud of them for a great game and a terrific season. The emotions of the evening as well as some very questionable ref calls made for an almost impossible game to win. Besides, the Wildcats had #52 on their side...they deserved to win. 29+23=52
