Woodside resident finds burglars inside home
Palo Alto Issues, posted by Kim, a resident of the Palo Verde neighborhood, on Nov 26, 2008 at 12:34 pm

"A Woodside resident was restrained by intruders Tuesday afternoon after interrupting a burglary at his home, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office.

The burglary occurred at about 2 p.m. at a home in the 100 block of Marva Oaks Drive.

The resident came home to find his front door kicked in and the burglars still inside. The burglars restrained him while they removed items from the home.

The man freed himself and called the sheriff's office after the burglars left.

Anyone who may have information about the burglary is encouraged to contact the Anonymous Tip Line of the sheriff's office at (800) 547-2700."

Based on the lack of description, how would a neighborhood watch group be suspicious? Maybe two middle age ladies, like me, decided to get ahead of the economic downturn, and do some home invasion robberies. Should all middle aged laddies be called into the police, if they are seen walking around the block?
