Donations instead of parties

The economy is a perfect reason to give back instead of buying extravagant gifts or hosting over the top parties. Take this opportunity to direct some of your "holiday funds" - for those who still have some discretionary income - and make this a season of giving, not spending.

The current state of the economy is having devastating effects on many people. In that spirit Price Waterhouse is donating 1.5 million to local charities in lieu of Holiday parties. Web Link. It would be wonderful to see other companies and individuals do the same!
