Dixville Notch, New Hampshire is the first precinct to vote in US Presidential elections. This year, the results are 71% for Obama, 28% for McCain. The residents there vote at midnight eastern time and the votes are counted right away. George W. Bush won this town by landslide margins in the last 2 elections, so this is not a Democratic stronghold.
