I want truth and accountability for 9/11

Original post made by 9/11 truth & accountability, Adobe-Meadows, on Oct 29, 2008

After Obama becomes president, I want the country to look into the truth of the matter about 9/11 and reopen the 9/11 commission that Bush so reluctantly and slowly refused to cooperate with. 9/11 was an inside job. By the law of physics, two planes could not have brought down the towers in such a clean manner.

I demand the truth.

BYU's Dr. Steven Jones Blows the Roof off a Utah Auditorium

by Philip Sherman Gordon

On Wednesday, February 1, a quiet, "churchy-looking" gentleman in a white shirt and tie walked into a packed auditorium on the campus of Utah Valley State College and electrified the room like a rock star. The 150-seat auditorium was filled to capacity, with every seat occupied, and people sitting in the aisles from the stage floor to the back of the room. Video cameras on tripods lined the back row. Two documentary-film crews were in attendance, in addition to the school's camera crew, and various independent journalists. Seven "spill-over" rooms, with seating for 40-50 each, were also filled to capacity. On this very conservative campus (in the most conservative county in the most conservative state in the union), where community leaders pulled out all the stops in 2004 to prevent Michael Moore from speaking as part of his anti-Bush, pro-Kerry "Slacker Uprising Tour," Dr. Steven Jones, this pious professor from the Mormon Church-owned Brigham Young University, calmly, gently, gave a simple physics lesson on the collapse of the World Trade Center buildings, the implications of which awed the audience with a sense of world-historical significance, and implied an indictment of the present administration so utterly devastating that it made Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 look like a Bush apologia.

Dr. Jones argues that the physics behind the government's explanation of the collapse of the Twin Towers on September 11 do not make sense, and that a better (and perhaps only) explanation for their collapse was that they were demolished, exactly the way structural engineers bring down large buildings, by pre-positioned explosive devices set off in precise sequences. He argues that the 650 degree Celsius temperature of burning jet fuel would not have been hot enough to even bend the steel girders of the WTC Towers, let alone to melt or evaporate them, as recovered beams indicate. And even if it was hot enough to evaporate the steel, the towers should not have collapsed as they did, pancaking so perfectly into their own footprints. On the rare times when such structures have failed (always due to earthquakes), they have toppled over sideways. The towers would have had to have been perfectly sliced, at every point along a horizontal plane at exactly the same instant, for something even resembling a pancaking effect to occur. And even if they did somehow pancake perfectly into their own footprints due to a structural failure, they would not have done it in the time it took for them to collapse, falling at essentially the speed of an apple dropped from the top of one of the towers, with nothing between it and the ground but thin air. The steel and concrete in the floors that collapsed should have taken some measurable time to break, and thus slowed the collapse somewhat as it unfolded. And even if it did collapse, at super speed, phwack phwack phwack, floor by floor, as fast as an apple falling through the air, impelled by the weight of the decapitated structure above it, its solid steel frame severed like a head by a flaming guillotine, that does not explain the molten steel seen at the Ground Zero clean-up site many days after the event. What could have caused such heat? asked Professor Jones.

We don't need a commission to figure out the culprits in 9/11. We already know it was an inside job masterminded by Bush/Cheney and the other Hitlerites in the Republican Administration.

Instead of a Commission, we need show trials followed by executions so that this kind of thing never happens again.

Fortunately, some members of congress and Biden have commented favorably upon such trials, and I eagerly await the election so justice can be done.

Not that any of the conspiracy crazies are interested, but Popular Mechanics published an article in 2004, taking up the various "proofs" of a conpsiracy. It was easy for the experts to knock them down.

The raional folks might be interested, so here it is:

BTW, it would not surprise me to see Biden, and possibly Obama, get behind this conspiracy stuff...anything to win leftist votes.

The FBI wanted to talk to all of the Bin laden families members living in America, and President Bush Jr. said NO to the FBI and allowed Bin laden 630 members to escape America via planes. Why did Bush let them go?

Why did Bush refuse to cooperate with the 9/11 commission and yet was so eager to go to war on false evidence?

Conspiracy theories like this are a unique form of quackery that reveal more about the psychology of the accuser than about the events he/she claims to have solved. For a good explanation and other examples (faked moon landing, TWA Flight 800, Illuminati, etc.), see

That Saddam had weapons of mass destruction was a big conspiracy theory which you all happily bought into. What does that say about you?

"By the law of physics, two planes could not have brought down the towers in such a clean manner."

Yes they can (and unfortunately did) - when they're large planes that are full of jet fuel - it was the inferno created, not the planes themsleves, that brought down the buildings.

This was discussed long ago - let's move along already.

You must be Republican. It would be all to easy for Bush and Cheney to ask American to forget.

And still no substantive answers to my questions on Bin Laden and the 9/11 commission.... hence the reason why we need to reopen the 9/11 commission.

Indeed. And there's nothing more boring than old conspiracy theories. That's why we get nice fresh new ones, like ACORN and voter fraud.

You're kidding, right? It's more likely McCain who would get behind this to distance himself more from Bush. See how easy it is to come up with this stuff?

ACORN, voter fraud and obamas illegal fund raising are in fact a reality under investigation by Federal agents right now.

I did organize the first San Francisco International Inquiry into 9/11, and am running for Congress on a 9/11 Truth, Peace, Justice platform.

The craziest "conspiracy theory about 9/11" was the one Cheney used to sell the Iraq War to the American people.

The Commission Report omitted and distorted 115 major pieces of evidence, and can be rightly considered "a big lie." It was also based on tortured confessions, which are worthless, as far as reliability is concerned.

The NIST Report that ordinary office fire brought down the 47 storey World Trade Center Building 7, which was not even hit by a plane is ludicrous. Building 7 wasn't even mentioned in the Commission Report, neither was the most sophisticated communications plane that was flying over Washington DC, an EB 4(also known as the Doomsday plane, since it is supposed to be useful in the event of nuclear war). The mulitple war exercieses being conducted, and the orders Cheney gave prior to the hit on Pentagon are also omitted from the Report.

The text of the TV Ad for my campaign which will start running today is-

On 9/11, three skyscrapers were felled by two planes, World Trade Center 7, the Patriot Act, the financial crash, the bailout, all share characteristics of controlled demolitions, criminal fraud, and treason. We the people, need the courage to seek and speak the truth. We need to investigate the big lies. We need to arrest, impeach the terrorists. We need to defend our Constitution, our rights, our lives. I am Carol Brouillet, Green Party Candidate for Congress and I approve this message. Vote Green for truth, peace and justice.

What is important is that 9/11 and the financial disaster were engineered and the criminals most responsible happen to be the ones who were rewarded and promoted, and have not been held accountable. In the process, they have done immeasurable harm to the US, the world, causing death, destruction, and assault on our liberties, and tried to terrify the world into shutting down our rational thinking processes. If we do not know what is real and true, how can we make wise decisions. If the press ignores the facts, champions lies, cloaks criminals in veils of legitimacy, what can we do? I think we have to speak out, organize, become the media, and replace elected officials that have betrayed their country and the Constitution.

Note that the example cited is an argument for being skeptical about conspiracy theories, which weakens the claimant's case. Further evidence of a reasoning deficiency.

I do not know who is responsible? I do know it showed many short comings in the 911 system.
Many people failed to do there jobs. The Firefighters Union, was as much to blame for many usafe conditions and lack of fast action on issues that needed to be taken care of. Not kick around in a political game while the issues sat waiting to kill firefighters and rescue workers. Then Blame the City of NY. No the firefighters Union did not help as they should have, or as they pretend to.

Face the facts , not the pretend, Do not blame others to cover up your short comings.

"ACORN, voter fraud and obamas illegal fund raising are in fact a reality under investigation by Federal agents right now."

9/11 was investigated. So were the Kennedy assassination and TWA 800. So what? Investigations only try to get the facts. Facts have no relevance in Conspiracyland. It's all about what you want to believe.

The ACORN conspiracy business is only one of the latest. Stay tuned for more in this final week, as desperate frustrated Repubs find it ever more difficult to stay within PC bounds.

Meantime, check under your bed every night.

Carol, that, alone, is reason enough to discount all the nonesense and fluff that you have spewed forth. Perhaps you might want to actually read the Popular Mechanics article that I posted. I am confident that you will assert that all those experts were paid off by the government or corporations, but it might be an amusing exercise! Watching paranoids in action, although tragic at one level, can also be humorous at another.

Ironically, I still see no response, nada on why Bush allowed Bin laden's family to leave. When you have a murdered spouse, you question the other spouse, you don't let family members go into hiding.

The republican silence on this issue is deafening.

"Ironically, I still see no response, nada on why Bush allowed Bin laden's family to leave. When you have a murdered spouse, you question the other spouse, you don't let family members go into hiding."

The bin Laden family, a major family of accomplishment in the Mid East, had expelled its wayward son, Osama, several year before 9-11. There was no reason to keep them in custody. It was simple prudence to fly them out of country, lest they become innocent victims of misplaced retaliation.

This paranoid craziness is absurd. It reminds me of all the conspiracy nutiness surrounding the Kennedy assasination. Kennedy was killed by Lee Harvey Oswald, a lone killer, shooting from the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository. There were nuts who suggested otherwise, but the Warren Report spoke the truth, despite all the of the challenges to it. Of particular note is the Congressional re-opening of the case (Rep. Gonzales), where pseudo-evidence was introduced, and caused an uproar for a while. In the end, it all came to naught.
