Oct 16th accident?

Original post made by Skeldawg, Ventura, on Oct 17, 2008

Did anyone else here all of the emergency vehicals responding late Thursday night? I turned on my police scanner and heard them dispatch a life flight. Does anyone have further details of where the accident took place? It sounded like a motorcycle vs. car and the car was over turned.

I heard the sirens too. I did not have the opportunity to turn on my police scanner though. A while later I do recall hearing a helicopter.

I'll ask our reporter to look into it. Did this occur in the Ventura neighborhood?

The scanner call you heard late last night was Palo Alto Fire responding to an incoming Life Flight helicopter heading to Stanford Hospital from a crash elsewhere.
