it is becoming more and more clear that she is ethically challenged and would not know the truth if it hit her in the face. And she dares to question Obama's character??

I think the Real Sharon's link is to the Mercury News story on Palin's previous ethical violations. Looks like abusing her position was business as usual for Palin.

Link didn't work for me, either. I guess it is the True Believer link.
ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, whose reformer image took a hit in a report concluding she abused her powers to settle a family score, has skirted state ethics rules before for personal benefit and used her office to help friends and supporters, according to an Associated Press review of records.

Peter S--the above is not about Tasergate--anyway, Tasergate irreparably damaged Palin's reputation (for those of you who did not know from day 1 that she was a liar and a fraud) and this just illustrates a pattern of abuse and treachery by Palin.
By the way, Ohlone Parent and I are two different individuals and I did not realize that susie bright takes the time to post on our forum.

The link only works for Dems or Indies - Repubs have special filters on their computers that keeps all inconvenient truths or facts from ever reaching them - works just like their TVs which are set up to only receive Fox News broadcasts.

This seems to be it: Web Link. Still can't make the original link work. Thanks, TRS.
The truth about Palin is gushing forth rather than "leaking out." I cannot understand why McCain picked her. He used to have a rep for solid ethics. Apparently he stayed in the Repub Party a bit too long.

More alarming than the actual findings is Sarah Palin's blithe "I was completely exonerated of any ethical wrongdoing" stance. No, Sarah, you were NOT exonerated. Perhaps YOU should read the report and not just direct others to do so. Did you get your information from the McCain campaign's spin machine?

Sorry kiddos,
I post under one name here. Always have. However, the Susie Bright obsession's kind of a giveaway as to who's posting under a new name.
It's an interesting article. Saw another one today which indicates Palin may have run a subtly anti-semitic campaign against the previous Wassila mayor by campaigning on how the town would have a "Christian" mayor. The previous mayor's name was "Stein". He was in fact born a Lutheran and wasn't Jewish.
All the little stories on Palin add up to a rather nasty piece of work--ambitious, power-hungry and interested in punishing anyone who gets in her way--i.e. exposing her teen-age daughter's pregnancy in the national press--because, god forbid, she didn't like the rumor she wasn't Trig's mother and she wasn't about to spare her daughter by simply showing a birth certificate.

back to Governor Thrifty . . . here we find out that after she was nominated she quicjly amended her expense reports to pretend that her daughters were invited to attend events they were not actually invited to, in order to justify their travel expenses.
If she felt she had not done naything wrong why would she have amended them to try to cover up inappropriate expenses?
And also, why did this frugal-minded governor stay in a hotel that cost $700+ per nigh? Sheesh -- couldn't find anything in a more modest price range for herself and the uninvited Bristol?
