Joe Biden's daughter arrested
Issues Beyond Palo Alto, posted by Was Biden Vetted?, a resident of Menlo Park, on Sep 3, 2008 at 11:06 pm

Joe, Joe, Joe - family values?? A blast from the past. I mean really? How can Biden balance a political career and be a proper father? Sheesh. Oh, and while we're speaking of odd names, what's up with Biden's daughter's name? Ashley Blazer Biden Who names thier daughter after a truck?

Ashley was quoted as saying to the police ".. know who you’re messing with! Gimme your badge number!” as they are being arrested. Miss Biden was later released and is scheduled for court on September 20th. Sen. Biden’s spokeswoman, Margaret Aitken, declined to comment, calling it a “private, family matter.” You know what? How about “F&&& Y&&”…don’t dish it out if you can’t take it. MSNBC has this date, and the L.A. Times has this date. Nods to One Shot and View From the Ridge."

the daughter of Sen. Joseph R. Biden Jr. (D-Del.) was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of obstructing a police officer outside a Chicago bar. Ashley Blazer Biden, 21, of Wilmington, Del., was with a group of people on a North Side street where several bars are located

remind me who started this? Move on .org and Kos

As a republican I believe strongly that this is a family matter, not to be used as a political football, leave it to the other side to play that game, it is the sort of thing they love, not us.

Was Biden vetted?

I mean really? How can Biden balance a political career and be a proper father?

Sheesh.

Oh, and while we're speaking of odd names, what's up with Biden's daughter's name? Ashley Blazer Biden Who names thier daughter after a Chevrolet truck? At least a Honda Accord for crying out loud!

Watched Palin speak tonight. I realize you die-hards are all excited, but while I think her manner was okay at the beginning, she got really monotonous at the end.

It's funny to hear you guys try to blow up an okay performance into something more than it was. It was predictable and, as time went on, Palin's inexperience in talking to large groups really showed. Someday she may become as good as Hillary Clinton--but nowhere near someone with the talent of Bill Clinton, Obama or your guys fav--Ronnie Raygun. But whaddaya expect? It's not like Alaska has a huge talent pool.

I actually felt a lot better about the VP debate. Biden's not too exciting, but neither is she. She's prettier than Biden, but, man, she sounded like she was speaking by rote by the end.

And the fussing about media attention--after she made such a huge point of exploiting her kids during the speech--it was so, oh, Spiro Agnew.

And the Daily Show was brilliant tonight. All those glorious flip-flops.

You know something, after the Dems gain all those senate seats in November, we are going to donate Joe Lieberman to you. You deserve him.

But, anyway,it was totally predictable, kiddo. I mean speeches often are, but this one was mega-canned. But then, I guess a lot of it was written before the VP was selected.

I personally LOVED the endless pix of the kiddos after all the complaints about the family's privacy. We even got that dumb hockey mom joke that's been floating about here.

My SO thought she wasn't terrible, but then sort of drifted off. I realized none of us could keep paying attention to it even though we'd sat down deliberately to watch it.

You don't recognize the irony, the sarcasm, of this post, Obamabots?

I am absolutely loving being a REAL woman in America today...at last we have a REAL WOMAN who walks her talk,

instead of a woman who despises sexual harrassmsent ( except when her husband does it, when she buries the women instead of the man), is pro-equality of choice for women ( except when some women choose to stay home and make cookies), is for a good health care plan ( except when she slaps something together which is abysmal in all ways), is for being tough ( except when it is politically expedient to cry because she is losing), is against sexism ( except when she wants to cry "sexist" while running), ...etc.

So far, can't find anything inconsistent in this woman...I am sure there is something, none of us is perfect..but I am also sure that if there were anything to find, it would have been found by now, as rage filled as the left is.

If only the left-wing media had spent even ONE DAY vetting Obama like they spent the first day trying to dig up dirt on Sarah Palin, they would have uncovered, immediately, his ties with terrorist Ayers, shady dealings with Rezko, complete lack of any experience at all, anywhere, his support of infanticide, etc.

This race would be between Hilary and John and whoever their VP picks were if the press had done their job instead of trying their racist best to bring Obama to the White House..

Persepctive--boy you really sound bitter and desperate. Obama's ties with Ayers and Rezko are well known. We won;t discuss experience given Palin's CV and Bushs' experience prior to election in 2000 (another example of republican hypocrisy--the "experience" issue).

Support of infacticide??? where does that come from. "Racist best"??? Come on, is that all you have is innuendo, lies and distortions. You guys are running scared.
