This driver for Osama bin Laden no doubt is a lackey and likely a creep. But he is small potatoes in what is needed to truly deal with various terrorist threats. He would be a petty felon in a domestic matter.
I view Shrub's approach on the so-called "War on Terror" to be terribly flawed, and distracted as a consequence of the Iraq debacle. This jury verdict and sentence supports my POV that this outgoing administration has been jingoistic and irresponsible in addressing the true symptoms that attend the "War on Terror."
Go after the guy driving the car, that's real easy. Ironically, they can't even win on that contest.
