After 2-year wait, Shawn gets a new heart

The long wait for a new heart has finally ended for 9-year-old Shawn Stockwell. Shawn has waited two years, three months and 17 days for a heart transplant, living at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital with his mother and two sisters.

That's a great story, and we should be so proud and thankful we have such amazing doctors, nurses and scientists right here in our town. Also, Ronald McDonald House is such a terrific charity that helps a lot of people.
