Deshawn was my friend. He had a real hard life. I knew him through our our teen years, but stopped hanging out with him once I went to college. We had some good times. [Portion removed by Palo Alto Online staff.] Deshawn was often misunderstood by the East Menlo Park community. I miss that kid. I got to scar him on his nose with a karate kick. We were playing around. He said I scarred him for life and I did. That's ok. I had him rollin one day from me attempting to jump over a fence when my foot got and I fell flat on my face. Ohh Deshawn loved that. The news article said Deshawn would go toe to toe with anyone and that's one of the things that I always admired about Deshawn. It did'nt matter the size of the dog in the fight. The size of the fight in this dog was too much. [Portion removed by Palo Alto Online staff.] REST IN PEACE. I'll see you soon, but not yet
