Bush/Cheney/Obama/Pelosi allowing Israel/U.S. to attack Iran
Issues Beyond Palo Alto, posted by War Crimes, a resident of the Adobe-Meadows neighborhood, on Jun 22, 2008 at 9:31 pm

There goes the Weekly deleting my posts criticizing George W. Bush and Congress and Israel. What are you Weekly editors? Censors? Geesh.

Attacking Iran, whether its Israel or the U.S. is going to bring on a stock market crash. Mark my words. Even the mere threat and constant news circulation about the imminence is enough to jitter the markets.

Pelosi gives the greenlight to Bush and Israel to attack Iran. Pelosi ought to be impeached. Just the mere threat of Israel attacking Iran is worth another $10.00 increase in oil prices. If Israel does attack Iran, welcome to the world of extremely high oil, gas and food prices.

And now Ralph Nader and Congressman John Olver disclosed that Congress is terrified that -- if Bush or Cheney are impeached -- they might bomb Iran, declare martial law and suspend the 2008 elections.

Ron Paul Claims Pelosi Spiked Iran Bill

Wednesday, June 18, 2008 5:07 PM

By: Rick Pedraza

Representative Ron Paul says House Speaker Nancy Pelosi removed a section from a bill passed by Congress which would have barred the U.S. from going to war with Iran without a congressional vote, claiming she did so at the behest of the leadership of Israel and AIPAC.

Paul, a former Republican presidential contender who formally removed himself from the party’s nomination race last week, makes the allegation on C-SPAN during a recently held foreign policy conference in Virginia.

Paul says Pelosi’s first act as House Speaker in 2006 was to “deliberately” remove a portion of a legislative spending bill which said the United States “can't go to war with Iran without getting approval from Congress.”

According to Paul, Pelosi and her allies in the chamber's Democratic leadership initially accepted the bill designed to outline an Iraq exit strategy, but during a revision of the legislation excluded the statement regarding the need for congressional approval of any military assault on the neighboring country of Iran.

“She [Pelosi] removed it deliberately,” Paul says. “And then, the astounding thing is, when asked why, she said the leadership in Israel asked her to.

Ralph Nader and Congressman John Olver disclosed that Congress is terrified that -- if Bush or Cheney are impeached -- they might bomb Iran, declare martial law and suspend the 2008 elections.

Here's the quote:

"If anything, the start of impeachment proceedings might force Bush to start the war against Iran early or cause him to bring about the false flag attack you mention. What better way to show the country how the Democrats engage in devisive partisan politics than to have them impeach him while the country is at war. Bush could also use the threat of impeachment as a pretext for declaring martial law and sweeping aside all opposition. It's better to just let Bush leave office quietly than to risk the horrors that he could unleash on us before then."Web Link
