Pickup/Dropoff at Castro light rail Sunday mornings?

Original post made by Driver, Another Palo Alto neighborhood, on Jun 8, 2008

I frequently have to drop off/pick up passenger at Castro St. light rail. I drive South on Central and turn right into Castro and then left and left to get to the parking lot. On Sunday mornings this is taken over by the farmers' market and there seems to be nowhere safe to drop or wait for a couple of mins. for pick up. Does anyone have any ideas?

Also, it would be much better if there was a drop off point without having to cross the tracks and go up Castro and round the block. This can take 5 mins. and has caused us to miss a train. Once again, any better ideas would be helpful.

Thanks in advance.
