Would you please consider becoming a potential marrow donor?

Can you please help me spread the word about our drive on your email lists, blogs, sites? Forward to anyone that might be intrested in writing about it. I am trying to get the word out about the need for Marrow Donors.

Date: Saturday, April 19th

Location: 95 Crescent Drive, Palo Alto, CA 94301

Time: 9:00am to 3:30pm

I have a corporate sponsor covering all fees and expenses. No potential donor will be turned away.

We are making an extra plea to multicultural/minority races, inclucing Asian, African American, Indian, American Indian and South Pacific donors..... but everyone is welcome and encouraged to show up for our drive....

Why am I doing this? Yes, it is personal. My mother has AML (diagnosed in Dec 2007). She has been matched with an unrelated donor and will be receiving a transplant in mid May 2008. I know that there are so many leukemic patients that do NOT have a match.... and I am doing this drive for them....

Please.... help me spread the word! Even if you are not local to Silicon Valley.
