It's a dirty job, but somebody's got to do it.
Palo Alto Issues, posted by Norbert von der Groeben Chief Photographer, a resident of the Palo Verde neighborhood, on Aug 25, 2006 at 10:35 am

It's a dirty job, but somebody's got to do it. Is that somebody you? Do you come home from work with your hands stained with grease or dirt caked under your fingernails. Are your clothes soiled with food or is your work vehicle covered in mud? If so, I (Norbert von der Groeben, chief photographer at the Palo Alto Weekly), want to hear from you for a photo essay. I'm looking for Palo Alto's dirtiest job. Do you have it? If so, drop an email to nvondergroeben@paweekly.com or call me at 650-326-8210 exit 253, with your name, phone number and job title.

The Discovery Channel has a show about Dirty Jobs, hosted by Mike Rowe. They just had a repeat on that featured the San Francisco Zoo from about a year ago. He actually lives in the Bay Area (according to his bio)... maybe he has some ideas.
