Sidewalk repairs create danger for our kids

I am pleased to see the sidewalks being repaired, but I am worried about the kids at Palo Verde at the intersection of Louis and Loma Verde. The sidewalks are dug up and there are big trucks blocking the view of motorists, cyclists and pedestrians alike. Since this is the safe passage to school week, I would like to see either police presence, extra crossing guard or one of the construction workers with flags to help the kids cross the street where the sidewalks are blocked.

If you drive this intersection, please look out for the kids extra carefully at present.
