Gunn collecting money for attacked student

Gunn High School is collecting donations for the family of the student who was brutally attacked last week.

It would appear that all the talkers are just that talkers. This innocent child needs help.

Mary - check the # responses to the reeanctment in Paly -
maybe it you post there about donating money - the victim will get some attention?
I would hope that the fact that there are no responses here, does not mean that donations are not being sent.

Hope we can get a follow-up on this important drive?

The state of California provides generous support for victims of violent crime in terms of psychotherapy and medical treatment and this continues as long as needed.

The victim therefore does not require additional funds to cover these treatments

Sue --did you bother to read the story?
Some of the money will be used to buy the student a laptop so that she can study at home.
I have realized reading this forum that PA likes to project an image of a caring, progressive community. Actually PA is just like any other community in the world--some people are good and some people are cold-hearted and uncaring and selfish.
