All my clocks are set to UTC. So no need to futz with them. The U.S. should move to a single timezone like China has, and then ditch timezones all together. What a waste...

There is a universal time zone. It is called GMT (Greenwich Mean Time). It is used for international aviation and broadcasting and probably other uses. Unfortunately, it is not American and therefore most people in this country are not aware of it. However, try a foreign international radio station and you will hear it used.
