Walgreens arson suspect named

A 45-year-old parolee with a history of mental illness is suspected of starting the four-alarm July 1 fire that destroyed the historic 1900 Walgreens building at 310 University Ave. in downtown Palo Alto, according to court records released Monday.

I am on safety committee in our neighborhood. This solves a very interesting problem we were having with notification in area affected by fires this person set that closed us down on an afternoon. We learned what happened and now, who did it. Thanks.
