'Mentally ill' suspect charged in Walgreen's fire

A 45-year-old parolee with a history of mental illness likely set the July 1 fire that destroyed the historic 1900 Walgreens building at 310 University Ave. in downtown Palo Alto, according to court records released Monday.

Well, I guess I better keep my shirt on, if the police can arrest you for arson soley based on a video showing you taking your shirt off near the fire location!

Keeps Shirt On,

Actually they arrested him after an eyewitness placed him at the scene and the ATF's National Response Team (you know, arson experts) found DNA matching the suspect on a shirt found at the scene.) They also concluded the fire was intentionally set and the video showed the suspect in the building right before the fire was set. Seems like a bit more than just a guy taking his shirt off so I think you’re safe.
