Two-alarm fire destroys Atherton home

Firefighters controlled a two-alarm blaze at a ranch-style home in Atherton Tuesday afternoon, but not before flames destroyed it. Almanac photos by David Boyce.

Why would you put an address in your publication. Wouldn't this invite vandals to the location? Would you want your address published regarding a fire at your home? Shouldn't there be a statement about public safety and future code requirements?
