"Classfied"

Original post made by Paul Losch on Oct 3, 2013

I had a meeting recently in downtown PA, at a building I will not name.

At reception, I was understandably asked for ID and where I was going. Fine so far.

Got my pass, went to my meeting, all very commonplace, except…

This office building has a ton of people who are doing highly classified work, with what I observed to be relatively young people. I suspect many of them are Stanford grads, and that is fine. Some youthful break time dealing with bungee balls and then back to work.

I personally am OK with such an organization doing such work in Palo Alto.

And it amazed me that such an organization is in our midst downtown.

Paul, is this supposed to be a guessing game?

Guessing where you are?
Guessing why you are there?
Guessing what the young people do when they work?
Guessing what this thread is all about?

Paul Losch is a registered user.

Resident,

[Portion removed.]

I am not writing a spy novel here, and the meeting I had was with a company that happened to be in the building, and the people I met with told me that a large part of the tenant space was occupied by an organization doing classified work.

That simple.

You can guess where I am if you like to play guessing games.

[Portion removed.] I am just trying to work out the point of your post. It seems that others are guessing and I am just mystified.

It looks like this is one of those that will be shut down to registered users soon.

I also wondered what the point of this thread was, resident. Your questions are spot on?
Unfortunately, thin-skinned Paul once again cannot take any criticism of his postings and lashes out at you.
Best to ignore him. He usually has nothing relevant to say, as this thread demonstrates

" the meeting I had was with a company that happened to be in the building, and the people I met with told me that a large part of the tenant space was occupied by an organization doing classified work."

How would the company you met with know that it was classified work? Classified means that it is classified, not public knowledge. Who is leaking, Paul?

Didn't the FBI have an office downtown at one time? I thought they moved to another part of Palo Alto, and then were burglarized some years back.

Is this a joke, Paul. If there truly is classifiEd work going on there, why did they tell Paul. And if there really is classified work going on there, why is Paul telling everyone? To show off?

What happened to the post about the posters who claim they ignore Paul, but show up in most of his threads?

There's government work all over the valley. Isn't hard to spot. Folks talk about it all the time. A little odd it's downtown. Cheaper rents out in the tracts down south. But then, the guvmint has tons o' cash, right?

OMG, the NSA is censoring the Town Square Forum! And I thought their tracking my every movement with RFID chips and secretly implanting mind control chips in people was bad. ;-)
