Who Appointed the New Acting City Auditor?

The City of Palo Alto's Chief Communications Officer issued a press release yesterday announcing that some anonymous individual or legislative body appointed an Acting City Auditor.

Good for you Herb!! You've been one of our Class A watchdogs for years. Keep at it. This bunch at City Hall will try to get by with just about anything- trouble is they don't even KNOW what they do may be Illegal. !! Total incompetency at City Hall. How do we 'clean house' - top down?

Not social cues, ideology nor political power should hinder proper, legal process by city government and management.

Our city government is pulled many directions, and law must be its guide.

Otherwise we're left with a free for all.
