An old-fashioned, face-to-face student summer exchange

This year, Gunn High School sophomore Katie Russell and Oaxaca 15-year-old Sofi Morales Calvo are the sole participants in a once-thriving summer-exchange program sponsored by Neighbors Abroad of Palo Alto.

This sounds like a great program. How can we find out more about it?

Are there other countries involved? Can students get to Europe or other places?

How is this funded?

It is a wonderful opportunity for family cultural exchanges. Our daughter's trip to Albi France sparked her interest in travel and languages. Hosting students from other countries is a positive experience which benefited the whole family.
