Editor,

Thank you for making this the top story, and thank you Norbert von der Groeben for the fabulous photos.

I think that our community should know more about the sacrifices that these brave men have done for our country, and the sacrifices that their families have endured during their absence.

A full story on these men and their families would be befitting for September 11th.

I would also be interested in reading a full story interview with Staff Sgt. Wilkerson who was recently awarded the highest medal of honor (The Bronze Star) for his heroic efforts in Iraq.

We should all be grateful for their service, regardless of our personal opinions about the war, or our government.

These men and women, and their families, have made huge sacrifices so that we may live our lives in peace and comfort.

I hope our community will remember to fly their American flags tomorrow.

It would be nice to see our community unite on something, even though we have our differences.

Thanks again for the story and photos.
