How long did he live in Palo Alto? Did he attend any local schools?

@resident - you'll be surprised to know that the *truth* of the matter is that Republicans are much better at identifying other countries than Democrats:

Now, aside from being surprised, are you also a wee bit ashamed to be so quick to disparage?

Chris Z: I wouldn't give the fringe part (defined as those that think Benghazi is really a 'scandal') of your "Republicans are much better..." toooooo much credit.

PPP, this month: "One interesting thing about the voters who think Benghazi is the biggest political scandal in American history is that 39% of them don't actually know where it is. 10% think it's in Egypt, 9% in Iran, 6% in Cuba, 5% in Syria, 4% in Iraq, and 1% each in North Korea and Liberia with 4% not willing to venture a guess." Cuba?

North Korea?

There is a satirical site that claimed Sarah Palin confused the Czech Republic with Chechnya during the Boston events. Too close to a possibility, a lot of folks assumed she would make that mistake given her track record.

Face it, deep down, you wouldn't put it past her, would you?

Further, the Czech Republic actually DID issue a reminder:"The Czech Republic and Chechnya are two very different entities - the Czech Republic is a Central European country; Chechnya is a part of the Russian Federation."

Excuse me, but I just left Brno, Czech after living and working there for 3.5 years. Crap like this case just doesn't happen there. I lived in the very center of the city, and heard a siren, yes one, maybe every couple of days. I advised people that this kind of crap happens all over the country, every day here. The Czechs and tons of others I spoke with could not grasp the notion of violent crime of such frequency. Well, it took just one American "English teacher" rolling into town to present evidence. Screw it, I can't even travel 5,000 miles to get away from it. Anyway, just be on the lookout for this guy:

From what other news reports suggest, he may not be from Palo Alto, as there's no record of him in PA schools or Stanford, but looks like a link to Roseville, CA.

According to Czech news sources (Web Link), he was apprehended in Washington, DC after flying out of Vienna. Glad to know he's not "on the loose" any more!

I suspect that the only tie this guy has to Palo Alto is that he typed it on his Facebook page.

Is there any evidence that this man has any connection to Palo Alto, other than some Facebook post that he made? Newspaper reports say he was living with his parents in Roseville (east of Sacremento) until recently and he never attended any schools in or near Palo Alto.
